The 2023 edition features some of the most coveted and respected poets, shayars, writers, singlers, dancers, actors and filmmakers, including Saurabh Shukla, Ustad Shujaat H. Khan, Pandit Ramdayal Sharma, Devdatta Pattanaik, Waman Kendre, Wasim Barelvi, Vasant Abaji Dahake, Harsha Chhaya & Lubna Salim. 

Founded in 2019 by Dakani Adab Foundation, the Deccan Literature Festival has quickly cemented itself as one of the most awaited arts and literature festivals of the country. Previous editions of this two-day immersive festival drew audiences not only from Pune, but greater Maharashtra and surrounding states.
