The 2024 edition features some of the most coveted and respected poets, shayars, writers, singlers, dancers, actors and filmmakers, including Mahesh Manjrekar, Meer Mukhtyar Ali, Pankaj Jha, Psycho Shayar, Fauziya Dastango, Durjoy Datta, Dr. Pradnya Pawar, Rajesh Reddy, Shakeel Azmi etc. 

Founded in 2019 by Dakani Adab Foundation, the Deccan Literature Festival has quickly cemented itself as one of the most awaited arts and literature festivals of the country. Previous editions of this two-day immersive festival drew audiences not only from Pune, but greater Maharashtra and surrounding states.
